It doesn't give your Defender a rough off-roader look, but to me it wouldn't be a camper without curtains. They do not only provide privacy when sleeping inside, they also create a cozy atmosphere. The curtains also keep the car cooler and prevent people from looking at all your valuable items when parked in the city.
Installing the curtains was no small task. I had to remove all the interior panels, drill holes and fit blind rivet nuts. The blind rivet nuts created the thread to screw a M5 eye-bolt into. A perfect fit to hold the end cap of the curtain cable in place.
